Focus:Â The Green Springs Blue Economy Incubator will specifically support early-stage businesses and entrepreneurs with innovative ideas for the blue economy, green jobs, and maritime sectors in Cameroon.
Target Audience:
- Recent graduates from the Green Springs Blue Economy programs
- Young Cameroonian entrepreneurs with promising blue economy or maritime business ideas
- Existing small businesses in the sector seeking to scale up or pivot towards more sustainable practices
Incubator Services:
- Mentorship:Connect entrepreneurs with experienced advisors and industry professionals who can provide strategic guidance, business development support, and connections to potential investors.
- Workspace:Offer affordable co-working space with access to basic office equipment and technology.
- Networking Events:Organize workshops, seminars, and networking opportunities to connect entrepreneurs with potential investors, partners, and customers.
- Funding Assistance:Guide entrepreneurs on obtaining funding through grants, angel investors, venture capitalists, or microloans focused on sustainable ventures.
- Business Development Support:Provide workshops and resources on business plan development, marketing, financial management, and legal compliance specific to the blue economy and maritime sectors.
- Prototyping and Testing:Offer access to tools, facilities, and resources to help entrepreneurs prototype and test their products or services.
Selection Process:
